Marketing and Management
This degree is offered as an intensive Master's programme designed to meet the needs of non-business graduates who have not previously specialised in marketing or management but now wish to do so and improve on their skill set; whilst featuring specialist marketing modules, an understanding and appreciation of other business functions within organisations is also developed throughout the course of the programme; the programme prepares students for a number of general marketing and management roles in both the private and public sector; 1 of the outstanding benefits of the Master's is a full 3rd semester of teaching, offering increased contact hours with the highly experienced academic staff.
At least a 2.2 Honours degree or higher, or equivalent in a non-business related subject or any subject studied in a non-UK context. All applicants who are not a British national and/or whose 1st language is not English will need to demonstrate a suitable level of English language proficiency. This is equivalent to an IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in all 4 components, although we do accept many other types of qualifications or tests. In accordance with the UK Border Agencies Tier 4 visa guidelines, we will also waive the English language requirement for applicants who meet the defined nationality test or who have completed a degree level course in 1 of the listed countries.
Modules include: Business strategy; financial and management accounting; human resource management; international business; leadership and change; management skills and personal development; principles of marketing.
