Supervision is available for research in most areas of economics including: industrial economics; experimental economics; decision theory; public choice; macroeconomics; development economics; labour economics; applied econometrics; environmental economics; economics of public policy.
Applicants require a 2.1 Honours degree, or equivalent; and a good masters degree; all applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 7.0 (with a minimum of 6.5 in each component), or equivalent; where a visa for study is required, UK Borders Agency minimum English requirements must be met.
Research and teaching studentships offered each year; university studentships and CCP (Centre for Competition Policy) studentships also available.
