International Commercial and Business Law
This course offers those who already have or who want a career in the practice of international commercial law (whether in private practice, with a government or international organisation, or in a corporate or financing environment) a wide selection of modules.
Applicants require a good 1st degree at minimum 2.2 level or equivalent, in law or, exceptionally, in a related subject; employment experience of applicants where relevant is considered and applications from those wishing to return to academic study are encouraged; all applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum 6.0 in all skills), or equivalent.
Core modules include: Foundations of international commercial law; legal skills and research; supervised dissertation; optional modules include: international competition law and policy; intellectual property law; international financial law; international sales law; international carriage law.
Scholarships available for UK/EU and international students; these are awarded on the basis of academic merit.
