Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology
Minimum 2.2 Honours degree in psychology, sociology, health and social welfare, counselling, education studies, human resources, business or social enterprise studies, or other related subject. Overall IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in Writing, Speaking, Reading and Listening (or recognised equivalent).
Perspectives on wellbeing (core); multidimensional flourishing (core); the search for something higher (core); the practice of evidence-based coaching (core); coaching in professional contexts 1 (core); coaching in professional contexts 2 (core); research methods and dissertation 1 (core); research methods and dissertation 2 (core).
You will be assessed in a variety of ways, designed to capture the multidimensional skills and understanding that you will develop on the course. These include a personal portfolio, which will reflect on positive psychology interventions that you will try out on yourself, a consultancy project for an external organisation, essays, a research proposal and a journal article. You'll also be asked to carry out a certain number of coaching sessions and submit a video and a transcription as well as a critical coaching log and personal professional development plans.
