Advanced Professional Studies (Adult Protection)
This programme is intended for experienced practitioners (minimum 2 years' post-qualifying experience) from a range of relevant agencies providing services to adults at risk of harm. Students develop confidence and competence within the complex field of adult protection in order to practice autonomously and collaboratively with individuals from a variety of professional backgrounds. Students acquire up-to-date knowledge of theory, policy and practice in relation to adults who may be at risk or pose a risk within society in order to assume leadership and professional development roles in their workplace.
All applicants must meet the general entry and language requirements; applicants whose 1st language is not English require: IELTS 7.0 (with at least 6.0 in each module); TOEFL internet-based test 100 (with at least 20 in each module); PTE(A) 67 (with at least 56 in each of the communicative skills sections); or CPE grade B or CAE grade A.
