Accounting and Finance
This course gives students the opportunity to specialise tailoring their studies towards their chosen careers: international accounting; international regulations; investment and security analysis; portfolio management; management accounting; corporate finance and corporate restructuring.
UK 1st Class or 2.1 Honours degree from a good university in 1 of the subjects below, or an equivalent overseas qualification: an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline is normally required; degrees in quantitative disciplines (e.g. economics or mathematics) or business studies are considered if students can demonstrate a strong background in accounting and finance throughout their degree; applicants whose 1st language is not English require: IELTS 7.0 (with at least 6.0 in each module); TOEFL internet-based test 100 (with at least 20 in each module); PTE(A) 67 (with at least 56 in each of the communicative skills sections); or CPE grade B or CAE grade A.
Exercises, group-work assignments, solving problems in tutorials and case studies. Assessment methods may include examinations, assignments, presentations or continuous assessment.
