University of Edinburgh

Accounting and Society (Online)

This programme runs for three years starting in mid-September and incorporates 8 courses in total as well as a research project. Professional accountants are exempt from year one and thus completion of the Masters should take two years and will include 5 courses in total as well as a research project. Each year is split into two Semesters and details of the courses are provided in the table below.

It is anticipated that a three-day induction will take place on campus at The University of Edinburgh Business School at the beginning of September as a means of introducing the programme but is also designed to be both informative and fun, enabling you to get acquainted with your fellow classmates and faculty.

Finally, you will be required to complete a Project, a piece of work unique to each individual student.

NB. Please note this programme is only open to Professional Accountants for academic year 2017/18.
