Veterinary Science (Research)

The programme offers students the opportunity to undertake a research project in a laboratory or department relevant to their speciality; the choice of research projects carried out is wide, and ranges from bench research to clinical research; subjects include: epidemiology; gene delivery; genetics; immunology; microbiology; neuroscience; parasitology; pathology; welfare and zoo animals.

Entry requirements

Applicants require an undergraduate degree, or its international equivalent, in clinical veterinary medicine is required; intercalating veterinary students may also be eligible to apply; applicants whose 1st language is not English require: IELTS 6.5 (with at least 6.0 in each module); TOEFL internet-based test 92 (with at least 20 in each module); PTE 61 (with at least 56 in each of the communicative skills sections); or CPE grade C or CAE grade B.
