This programme provides scientific knowledge and practical skills relating to applications of basic animal sciences to veterinary and human medicine, the livestock industry and food security.
The minimum entry requirement is a UK 2.1 undergraduate degree, or its international equivalent, in biological, veterinary or medical sciences; applicants are also required to have a working knowledge of molecular biology and laboratory experience; applicants whose 1st language is not English require: IELTS 6.5 (with at least 6.0 in each module); TOEFL internet-based test 92 (with at least 20 in each module); PTE 61 (with at least 56 in each of the communicative skills sections); or CPE grade C or CAE grade B.
Modules include: basic techniques in animal biosciences; advanced techniques in animal biosciences; current topics in animal biosciences; analytical methods in animal biosciences; seminars in animal biosciences.
