The research degrees provide training in specific research methodologies; those registered for formal research degrees also have the opportunity for formal generic training in research skills.

Entry requirements

In order to be considered for the programme we require a relevant undergraduate degree with a UK 2.1 or higher result, or its international equivalent; applicants must also have been formally interviewed by the School they wish to enter; applicants whose 1st language is not English require: IELTS 7.0 (with at least 6.0 in each module); TOEFL internet-based test 100 (with at least 20 in each module); PTE(A) 67 (with at least 56 in each of the communicative skills sections); or CPE grade B or CAE grade A.
