This programme addresses 5 components: the scientific basis of prosthodontic care; the relationship of other dental disciplines to prosthodontic care; diagnosis and treatment planning for patients with advanced prosthodontics problems; the clinical treatment of patients with advanced prosthodontic problems; clinical treatment involving combined prosthodontic and other dental therapy.
Applicants require a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree, or the equivalent primary dental qualification, plus a minimum of 2 years' postgraduate experience is required; all successful applicants must undergo a criminal record check prior to commencing studies; applicants whose 1st language is not English require: IELTS 7.0 (with at least 6.0 in each module); TOEFL internet-based test 100 (with at least 20 in each module); PTE(A) 67 (with at least 56 in each of the communicative skills sections); or CPE grade B or CAE grade A.
