Paediatric Emergency Medicine
This programme is aimed at high-calibre graduates in medicine involved in the management of clinical emergencies in children; it is ideal for trainees in paediatrics and emergency medicine, and also highly relevant for anaesthetists who wish to develop skills in paediatric anaesthesia or paediatric intensive care; it will also help primary care practitioners who work in remote and rural areas without paediatric support.
Applicants require a medical degree (MBChB or equivalent) and at least 1 year of clinical experience; applicants whose 1st language is not English require: IELTS 6.5 (with at least 6.0 in each module); TOEFL internet-based test 92 (with at least 20 in each module); PTE 61 (with at least 56 in each of the communicative skills sections); or CPE grade C or CAE grade B.
Medical emergencies; surgical emergencies and trauma/anaesthesia and sedation; additional topics in paediatric emergency medicine.
