Edinburgh Cancer Research Centre

The centre studies the genetic and biological basis of cancer, disease pathology and devise and test new forms of therapy arising from our basic, translational and clinical research programs. The ultimate aim is to carry out high quality research into effective cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment, as well as the symptoms associated with cancer.

Entry requirements

A relevant undergraduate degree with a UK 2.1 or higher result, or its equivalent if outside the UK; applicants whose 1st language is not English require: IELTS 6.5 (with at least 6.0 in each module); TOEFL internet-based test 92 (with at least 20 in each module); PTE 61 (with at least 56 in each of the communicative skills sections); or CPE grade C or CAE grade B.
