Mathematical Analysis and its Applications

Most projects will relate to 1 of the following themes: harmonic analysis; partial differential equations (PDES); stochastic processes; mathematical modelling; atomic and molecular systems; fluid dynamics; applied probability.

Entry requirements

Applicants should have, or expect to obtain shortly, a very good 1st degree in an appropriate subject or relevant qualifications and experience. If English is not the 1st language, applicants must have 1 of the following qualifications as evidence of their spoken and written English: IELTS Academic: total 6.5 (at least 6.0 in each module); TOEFL-iBT: total 92 (at least 20 in each module); PTE(A): total 61 (at least 56 in each of the "Communicative Skills" sections); CAE and CPE: total 176 (at least 169 in each module).
