Speech and Language Therapy (Pre-Registration)

This programme is client-focused, using problem-based learning methods to integrate theory and clinical practice. You undertake day visits and blocks of practice education with speech and language therapists in the workplace. Successful completion leads to eligibility to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a speech and language therapist. All of our Master's level pre-registration programmes are offered as accelerated programmes. This means you have the advantage of inter-professional learning (IPL), encouraging professionals to learn with and from each other, an understanding that helps to ensure our students have the expertise to respond adequately and effectively to the complexity of their service user needs, and ensures that care is safe, seamless and of a high standard.
