Global Project Management
This course ensures students understand the dynamics, underpinning theories and concepts relating to global project and innovation management; they develop critical insights into how global, innovative projects become part of the strategic decision-making process of businesses and how they complement the management of related areas of information; new enterprise creation; business research; and the workings of the international business environment.
Our applicants should have a 1st, 2.1 or high 2.2 degree, or equivalent. Individual course requirements can vary. If English is not your 1st language, then we require IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
Core modules: Global project and product development; comprehensive business plan; dissertation; global supply chain and operations management; international marketing strategy and planning; managerial economics; research methods. Optional modules include: Creating and managing the new and entrepreneurial organisation; innovation management; international business and strategy; international human resource management; principles of international marketing; the international business environment.
Combination of written coursework, end-of-term tests, practical and laboratory work (where appropriate) and end-of-year exams. During the summer, students work on a dissertation or individual project included in their final grade.
