We offer supervision for politics in areas including: Political behaviour; comparative politics; ideology and discourse analysis; and international relations.
Master's degree, or equivalent, in relevant subject area; IELTS 7.0.
Stage 1 modules include: Advanced research methods; British political parties; comparative politics of human rights; conflict resolution; contemporary theories of justice; democracy, citizenship and constitutions; European integration and European politics; global and comparative politics; human rights and political theory; ideology and political discourse; international negotiation; international security studies; dissertation; political behaviour; political economy; political explanation; political theory; project; research design; research seminar in political theory and methods; the analysis of conflict and peace; the analysis of public opinion; theories of international relations; theory and explanation in political science.
Assessment methods include written coursework, assignments, end of term tests and an exam at the end of the year.
