Civil Engineering with Management

Civil engineering is essential for the sustainable provision of the infrastructure used in our daily lives, from buildings, to roads, bridges and waterways, and more innovative solutions are constantly being sought as the demands of modern civilisation increase. Alongside the core engineering modules, you will also study three management modules taught by the Business School which will help you develop transferable professional management skills that will enhance your study experience and improve your career prospects. This programme brings together the latest scientific developments in a range of civil engineering disciplines to provide you with an in-depth knowledge of the subject, specifically geotechnical and structural engineering. You will learn how to analyse, design, construct and maintain infrastructure, and put the theory you learn in to practice to solve complex problems.
