Psychological Therapies

This programme is intended primarily for people working in the NHS and independent sector who want to develop psychological therapy knowledge and skills beyond the basic level acquired in some professional qualification courses. It has 2 strands: Psychodynamic and systemic. Trainees are required to choose which training they are interested in before they apply and must have completed an introductory level training in that therapeutic model. The programme enhances eligibility for accreditation with UKCP.

Entry requirements

Applicants must meet university criteria for registering for a Master's level education as well as preliminary (foundation level) training in the chosen therapy model.
