Conflict, Security and Development

The programme aims to give students first-hand insight into the challenges faced by organisations involved in development and policy making when responding to humanitarian crises caused by civil war and international conflict. By gaining an insider's view of the challenges faced by organisations involved in activities such as relief, reconstrution or policy making, students will be better equipped to interrogate the myths that surround conflict, security and development and improve their understanding of their relationship within a political context.

Entry requirements

Normally a 1st or 2:1 Honours degree (or international equivalent) in an appropriate subject from a recognised university.
