Health Services Improvement
The global burden of disease and challenges of safe and accessible health services means that more than ever practitioners and researchers need skills for developing, testing, evaluating and implementing evidence-based health care in highly complex situations. This programme provides students with the skills and knowledge to tackle these challenges. This variation of the MSc Applied Health Services Research programme is for those professionals who wish to engage actively at the forefront of health services research but who are not primary researchers within their place of work. It is suitable for people who are involved in evidence-based health service redesign and innovation, such as clinical practitioners, managers, leaders and commissioners both within the public or private sector.
Normally a minimum 2.2 Honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline. Relevant clinical or professional experience may be taken into consideration as evidence of equivalency.
