University of Exeter
The programme provides training in a range of research techniques and methods used in the social sciences, and an appreciation of their theoretical and philosophical underpinnings. Students develop critical thinking skills through specialist management and organisation studies options. The research-based dissertation enables students to develop a critical academic argument on their chosen topic, with the support of a supervisor. They also learn how to implement research techniques to critically evaluate management problems and research debates. This programme forms part of the ESRC South West Doctoral Training Centre - a hub of world-class social sciences research.
The University of Exeter invests heavily in scholarships for talented prospective Masters students. This is in addition to the Government's Postgraduate Loan Scheme. For information on how you can fund your postgraduate degree at Exeter, please visit the postgraduate study pages of our website.
