International Tourism Management
A good Honours degree from a recognised university. Applications will be considered where there is evidence of exceptional performance in modules relevant to the programme of study, significant relevant work experience or professional qualifications. Examples of compulsory modules: tourism business: management, impacts and evaluation; tourist behaviour: theory and practice; methods and techniques for independent research; strategy; tourism and marketing; dissertation. Examples of optional modules: sustainable tourism management; managing operations; principles of international business; marketing strategy; international human resource management; work-based learning; entrepreneurship: new venture development; managing in a multinational context; digital business models.
Modules are assessed through a mixture of group work, coursework, project work and examinations.
