This course provides an understanding of art-world practice. Students are introduced to museum and auction house systems for classifying objects and study different models of museum and gallery display.

Entry requirements

An undergraduate university degree, university transcripts, 2 letters of recommendation and a personal statement.

Chinese Art 1700 BC-AD 1799; gallery and curatorial studies; culture and ideology seminars methodology seminars; thesis; art market, gallery and museum studies; research project.
