Historically Informed Performance Practice

This course provides students with opportunities to develop insight and experience in historical performance practice of music.

Entry requirements

Normally, at least a 2.1 Honours degree (or equivalent qualification) in Music, plus an audition.

Course modules

2 series of seminars in historically informed performance practice; practical presentation; practical portfolio; dissertation; assessed performance recital.

Assessment methods

Dissertation.
