Brain Sciences (from Molecules to Mind)

Students are trained across a broad range of research skills for brain sciences, with an emphasis on advanced methods and research knowledge in key areas of molecular, cellular, systems and cognitive neuroscience.

Entry requirements

At least a 2.1 Honours degree in neuroscience, physiology, psychology or acceptable equivalent(s).

Course modules

Molecules to mind; statistics.
Optional courses: Advanced neuroanatomy; brain development; neuropsychology; brain diseases; neurotransmitters and drugs; neuronal circuits and memory; vision; attention; working memory; brain oscillations; aging; plasticity; fMRI.
