Civil Engineering and Management
This course introduces contemporary business and management issues while increasing knowledge of civil engineering.
Entry requirements for postgraduate taught programmes are normally a 2.2 Honours degree or equivalent (eg GPA of 3.0 or above) in a relevant subject unless otherwise specified. Additionally, a sound understanding of programme relevant core engineering principles, such as mathematics, is expected and must be demonstrated in a 2.1 or equivalent in core subject components from the student's Honours degree.
Contemporary issues in human resource management; managing creativity and innovation; managing innovative change; marketing management; operations management; project management; integrated systems design project; advanced soil mechanics; advanced structural analysis; computational modelling of non-linear problems in structural mechanics; environmental biotechnology; structural analysis 4; project or dissertation.
