This course is a fusion of mechanical, electrical, electronic and control engineering. Modern industry depends for its success in global markets on its ability to integrate these subjects into both the manufacturing process and innovative products and systems.

Entry requirements

Entry requirements for postgraduate taught programmes are normally a 2.2 Honours degree or equivalent (eg GPA of 3.0 or above) in a relevant subject unless otherwise specified. International students with academic qualifications below those required should contact our partner institution, Glasgow International College, who offer a range of pre-Master's courses.

Control; data signal processing; integrated system design; robotics.; advanced manufacture; auto vehicle guidance systems; computer communications; fault detection, isolation and reconfiguration; lasers; real-time embedded programming.
