Finance and Management
2.1 Honours degree or non-UK equivalent (eg, a GPA of 3.0 or above) in a relevant subject containing at one 5th coverage of business, management and economics. English language requirements: IELTS: overall score 6.5 (6.0, with writing at 6.5); ibTOEFL: 115; minimum listening: 28; reading: 29; writing: 30; speaking: 26, equivalent. If students require a Tier 4 student visa, their qualification must be 1 of the secure English language tests accepted by UK Border Agency. All test reports must be no more than 2 years old.
Core courses: Basic econometrics; corporate finance and investment; global business environment; international strategic management; managing across cultures and comparative management; management issues and controversies. Optional courses: Either 2 economics courses from: Financial sector stability growth; international finance and money; modern theory of banking and finance. Or 1 economics and 1 management course from: American business and management in an international context; the internationalisation of smes; the business environment in China; the European business environment.
