Learning and Teaching Modern Languages in the Primary School

The programme gives students a better understanding of foreign language learning and teaching processes in a primary setting. It has a focus on the interrelationship between theoretical understanding and practice. It is of particular relevance to the teaching of modern languages within the Scottish Government's Curriculum for Excellence framework. This programme has gained Professional Recognition from GTC Scotland under the Standard for Career-Long Professional Learning.

Entry requirements

The programme is intended for General Teaching Council registered teachers.
