Media, Communications and International Journalism

This programme combines the latest in media, communications and audience theory, and research methodologies with the production and editorial skills that are required of the modern journalist. Students can apply their understanding of the role of the media in society to their own journalistic output.

Entry requirements

The minimum entry requirements are an honours degree at the 2.1 (upper 2nd Class level) or higher or equivalent in sociology, politics, economics, history or related social science subject. Applicants with a 2.2 may be considered if warranted by strong references.
