Community and District Nursing Specialist Practice
This programme prepares practitioners for the challenges of meeting complex care needs in the community in collaboration with key partners.
you will need at least a 2.2 honours degree or equivalent; you will need to be able to demonstrate evidence of ability to study at level 7; you will have post-registration experience; you should be working in a relevant clinical setting; you must be enhanced DBS checked; you will need support from a employer for clinical experience and study support; mentorship is required to support learning in a clinical practice; international students need IELTS 6.5 overall (no less than 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in any other band) or equivalent.
Modules include: Research methods informing practice; person-centred care in practice; leadership and management in healthcare; clinical assessment and decision-making skills; work-based clinical competence for specialist practice; non-medical prescribing; teaching, learning and assessment in practice.
