Mentoring and Coaching

This course is designed to serve the needs of those directly involved in coaching and mentoring, and those whose personal effectiveness can be enhanced by a thorough knowledge of what is involved and how it can be of benefit to individuals, teams and the organisation as a whole; likely beneficiaries therefore include senior and middle leaders/managers, induction tutors in schools and colleges, subject mentors, student advisors in FE and HE and internal or external consultants others wishing to develop their practical capabilities as coaches and mentors in educational settings.

Entry requirements

Students should have one or more of the following: an Honours degree or equivalent; a professional or postgraduate qualification; appropriate employment experience; an ability to undertake and benefit from study at postgraduate level.
