Special Educational Needs Co-Ordination

The programme leads to the National Award for Special Educational Needs Co-ordination; the course also enables students to achieve a post graduate certificate and thus 60 Master�s level credits which students can use towards gaining an M.Ed. in Inclusive Education; the content of the course enables students to achieve the new National Standards for SENCOs and also gain 1/3 of a Master�s degree; the course is composed of 2 30 credit modules and considers current issues, debates, theories, research findings and practical implications of special educational needs provision.

Entry requirements

The course is open to new and recently appointed SENCos; experienced SENCos or aspiring SENCos.
