Hospitality and Tourism Management

The course comprises modules that critically investigate contemporary issues in hospitality and tourism management using current theories and concepts. You will develop your critical thinking, problem-solving and entrepreneurial skills, as well as broader business acumen. You will have the opportunity to undertake a period of professional practice with a local company or a company of your choice within the hospitality industry. The course has strategic links and partnerships with local and national employers. A course delivered within a School that has Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management Institute accreditation for its undergraduate courses.

Entry requirements

Applicants need a 2.1 Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject or you may have substantial relevant work experience. International students need IELTS 6.5 overall (no less than 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in any other band) or equivalent.

Assessment methods

Assessment is via reports, dissertation, essays, presentations, live research projects and sales pitches.
