Film Production

This course offers students the opportunity to develop their own film, TV and feature length projects. Students also investigate industry practice and business models and developing advanced production skills.

Entry requirements

Students will need at least a 2.2 Honours degree or equivalent and/or relevant equivalent industry experience.

Course modules

Modules include: Creative film production I; creative film production II; advanced professional roles; postgraduate seminar; textual studies; postgraduate thesis.

Assessment methods

Assessment is based on practical work (film projects) that include specific production activity. Written work will be assessed in both production modules that include written submissions (including pre-production material) and in modules that require academic writing (including Textual Studies and Postgraduate Thesis).
