Landscape Architecture

This programme is designed for individuals interested in becoming professional landscape architects. Across this programme candidates are involved in a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum, including: design, history, theory, professional practice, technology and representation. The core component of the programme is the design studio where students engage with landscape projects in the UK and abroad. With a team of academics and practitioners the students develop their design projects through tutorials and design reviews. This design teaching is informed by comprehensive technical and theoretical lectures and seminars. The aims of the programme are to encourage landscape architecture and design experimentation at an advanced level.

Entry requirements

Applicants should have a 1st degree in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent, or the Certificate in Landscape Design from the University of Greenwich; a portfolio of visual and creative work is required for all applicants; applicants should provide a link to their digital portfolio with their application form. An IELTS score of 6.0 is required if English is not your first language.

Assessment methods

Assessment is by seminars, essays, coursework, portfolio of project work and dissertation.
