Architectural Practice

The programme is rooted in the description, explanation and analysis of aspects of current professional practice. The aims of the programme are: to prepare students for registration as architects in the UK; to address and define new trends and knowledge in the field of architectural practice; to create self-reflective professionals who have the knowledge, drive and determination to succeed in the world of contemporary architecture.

Entry requirements

Applicants should have: ARB part 1 and part 2 (Architects Registration Board); applicants should normally be engaged in full-time architectural practice in the UK.

Assessment methods

Assessment is through 4 written papers, presentations, an essay evaluating the student's professional development, a case study on an office project and a viva voce (a professional interview with experienced examiners).
