University of Greenwich

History

The programme draws on the strengths of Greenwich's History team and the Greenwich Maritime Institute to provide students with an exciting range of optional areas of study, including public history, gender, empire, exploration, war, and maritime history. This programme has been designed for graduates who may be considering embarking on a career in teaching, academic research, or in the UK's vibrant heritage sector, where a postgraduate qualification considerably enhances employability. The range of student aspirations is recognised in the optional work placement module, assessed by creative research outputs such as an exhibition or a filmed documentary.
