Strategic Marketing Communications
The course aims to provide a creative and systematic approach to problem-solving in the area of strategic marketing communications. Applicants learn to collate, synthesise and analyse a range of data to help in the solution of marketing-related problems. The programme also offers the opportunity of a visit to a partner school in France to explore communications in a different cultural and disciplinary context.
A 2.2 Honours degree from a recognised university and marketing experience; or a Chartered Institute of Marketing advanced certificate in marketing and marketing management experience; where English is not 1st language IELTS core of 6.5; TOEFL 550/213; or the University of Greenwich International Pre-Master�s Programme are required.
Advertising and marketing communications; communications theory; foundations of scholarship; influence leadership and personal development; contemporary issues in marketing communications; research methods; research dissertation; media planning and buying; relationship and interactive marketing; marketing and marketing communications consultancy; global marketing management; strategic brand management; communications in context.
Assessment is through essays, reports, a research proposal and a dissertation.
