University of Greenwich
PR and Corporate Communications
This course has been developed in partnership with the public relations (PR) industry to provide you with key courses relevant to PR practice. You will have the opportunity to pick from a range of optional courses which will provide you with specific sector knowledge. You will gain the practical and theoretical skills, required for this increasingly influential management discipline. The ethical dimensions of the role and practice of PR provide an important framework to this programme. You will learn how to help organisations communicate, build stronger relationships and engage with increasingly demanding stakeholders.
You should have a good quality relevant undergraduate degree, or equivalent qualification, from a recognised university or higher education institute. Good written and spoken English is required. If you were educated in a language other than English and/or in a country where English speakers are in a minority, you should have a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill) or equivalent. If you require a Tier 4 (General) student visa to study in the UK, your score must be from a UK Visas and Immigration approved IELTS test.
You will be assessed through written assignments, group and individual presentations and a dissertation.
