Applied Plant Science
A degree in biological or life science at 2.1 or above; relevant working experience will be considered.
Modules include: Molecular and plant biology principles for plant improvement; research methods in plant science; independent research project; plant growth and cropping technology; options: Agroforestry; agronomy and crop physiology; applications and aspects of commercial crop science; food and markets; planning for personal and professional development; plant disease management.
Students are assessed through: Examinations; coursework; research and project dissertation.
