Clinical Psychology

This programme aims to prepare clinical psychology trainees to function effectively as clinical psychologists within the national health service (NHS) and in related settings.

Entry requirements

A 2.1 Honours degree in psychology, recognised as conferring the graduate basis for registration by the British psychological society, plus at least 1 year's full-time equivalent clinical or research experience.

Course modules

Modules include: Professional practice and personal development; therapeutic models and interventions; research methods in clinical psychology; client groups and clinical contexts.

Sponsorship information

All trainees are employed as Trainee Clinical Psychologists by Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Trusts on a 3-year fixed term contract. No self-funding places are available.
