This programme enables students to develop knowledge of advanced computer science techniques.

Entry requirements

A 2.2 Honours degree in any subject, plus an appropriate level of computer literacy. If English is not the 1st language an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent is required.

Modules include: Advanced database; computer science project; distributed systems security; human computer interaction (developing usable systems); human computer interaction (selecting usable systems); introduction to programming; measures and models for software engineering; mobile standards, interfaces and applications; multicast and multimedia networking; multimedia specification, design and production; object-oriented programming; principles and practice of e-learning design and development; professional issues; secure systems programming; software development tools and methods; software engineering practice and experience; web scripting and content creation; web services; wireless, mobile and ad-hoc networking .
