A 2nd Class Honours degree in computer science or similar subject; applicants with a 2nd Class Honours degree in another subject (combined with an appropriate level of computer literacy) can apply but is required to take foundation modules; applicants who do not wholly meet these requirements but who are considered to have the professional experience, motivation or potential to succeed at the programme, may also be accepted; minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent is required for those whose 1st language is not English.
Foundation modules: introduction to programming; object-oriented programming; software development tools and methods; professional issues. Business modules: agile project management; business forecasting; business improvement and change; computer simulation for business; consultancy skills; e-business processes and strategies; information management; plus a project in semester C.
