The course is aimed at those working in engineering who hold an accredited undergraduate degree and wish to complete a Master's degree in order to become a full member of engineering institutions and gain Chartered Engineering status.
An Honours degree (at least 2.2 or above) in an appropriate engineering discipline; if English is not the 1st language, IELTS 6.0 or equivalent is required.
Modules include: Professional development audit; scientific principles and technologies; mathematical and computer modelling techniques; mathematical and computer modelling techniques; mathematical and computer-based problem solving; design processes and methodologies; new technology and design innovation; management, business practices and risk management; technology practice, developments and applications; project.
