The course explores some of the key ideas and concepts that inform contemporary applied arts practice; it focuses on helping students to develop the entrepreneurial skills needed to further their careers and explore funding opportunities and employment in the creative and cultural spheres.
An Honours degree at least 2.2 or above in a relevant field; if English is not the 1st language an IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent is required.
Modules include: Creative enterprise and context; discourse and reflection: art and design; major study: applied arts; practice 1: art and design; practice 2: art and design; research and enquiry.
Assessment is based on written documentation and assignments.
