Aerospace Engineering

This programme will help you to develop your critical thinking skills as a future engineering manager or technical specialist as it will enable you to effectively analyse technical and management issues.

Entry requirements

An Honours degree (2.1 or above) in aerospace; or aerospace systems; engineering; or mechanical engineering; other disciplines will be considered on merit; minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent is required for those whose 1st language is not English.

Course modules

Modules include: Aeroelasticity; CFD analysis for aerospace applications; CFD techniques; control of mechanical systems; FEA and applications; flight mechanics; projects; operations management; operations research.

Assessment methods

Assessment is based on completion of a major project.
