This programme will give you hands-on practical experience of both laboratory and bioinformatics techniques. You will also be trained in biotechnology research strategies.
An Honours degree marked at 60 per cent or above in biosciences; biochemistry; pharmacy or biological chemistry; applicants with other qualifications and relevant experience are welcome; all applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
Modules include: Molecular biology; genes, proteins and development; industrial biotechnology; molecular biotechnology; project: molecular biology, biotech, pharmacology and bioinformatics. Optional modules: genes, proteins and development; industrial biotechnology; level m project preparation; molecular biotechnology.
Assessment is based on coursework.
