Environmental Management for Business

This programme develops skills for implementing environmentally-sustainable solutions in business and organisations around the world.

Entry requirements

A 2nd class degree in any subject. Applicants with other qualifications and relevant experience will be considered individually by the programme tutor. APL is available for those who already have associate membership of IEMA. If English is not your 1st language, you will need a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent.

Course modules

Core modules include: corporate social responsibility; environmental management systems implementation; environmental management tools and methods; environmental policy and governance; foundation in environmental auditing; management skills for environmental management. Optional modules: ecology and conservation; environmental management for business individual research project; integrated waste and pollution management; research methods; sustainability and environmental systems; sustainable energy; transport policy and travel planning.

Assessment methods

Assessment methods include reports, essays, seminars and online tests.
